Starfish had a visitor

As the Starfish have been learning about people who help us, they had a special visitor come into school.

PCSO Alex Devenish came in to school and brought his car onto the playground.

The children had the chance to ask him questions about his job; look at the uniform he wears and the equipment he uses.

They also had the chance to sit in the car with the lights on and look at how the radio works.

The children were very excited!

This term the Starfish have been looking at ‘Superheroes’ and ‘People who help us’ as their class topic.

The children have been busy at home with their projects designing their own superhero.

See below for those who have handed theirs in already.

This year Fishtoft Academy raised £70.22.

To raise the money the children and staff came to school in their pyjamas and the children entered a Pudsey colouring competition.
