Christmas Fair 2017

Thankyou to all who helped at our Christmas Fair this year.

We have made £171.19.

Merry Christmas from all the staff and pupils at Fishtoft Academy.

On Wednesday 13th December a very special visitor came to Fishtoft Academy to visit each class. Santa was able to spare some of his valuable time to see our fantastic children. He helped deliver presents that have been bought for each child from money raised at the Summer Fair. It was great to meet such a special man and the children were excited, grateful and pleased to hear that he has enjoyed reading their letters.

On the 22nd November we were lucky enough to invite an author into school for the day. Gail Clarke is a children’s author, illustrator and storyteller and she spent the day with us sharing her love of books.

All classes benefitted from her time and she enthused and inspired us all with her story telling and chats.

We are extremely lucky to have welcomed Gail into our school and we all had a fantastic day.

Well done to the Year 5 and 6’s that took part in the Tag Rugby Tournament and came joint 3rd!
