End of term Easter celebrations

The end of term was celebrated at St Guthlac’s church with the whole school walking there to take part in a special celebration  assembly. Our Starfish class children proudly wore their wonderfully decorated Easter bonnets which were then paraded once inside the church and judged by Christine who had the difficult decision of choosing a winner.

Each child represented the school fantastically by performing songs and poems with huge smiles on their faces as their classes took to the stage. Many parents attended the special service and it was lovely to see the church looking so full.

Many certificates were given out for the hard work that has been seen over the term and we also had Bikewise awards to present to the children that took part in Bikewise earlier this term.

The children were a credit to the school and the Easter service was a fitting end to another successful term at Fishtoft Academy.
